About me
Creativity has always been at the heart of everything I do.
With over 20 years’ experience in marketing and communications — and a Master’s degree in Media Enterprise — I’ve built my career around helping ideas grow. From supporting local service providers to working with national charities and mentoring project managers across the UK, I’ve helped organisations clarify their message, strengthen their impact and bring their vision to life. I’m particularly energised by working with small businesses and purpose-led projects, where creativity and strategy need to work hand in hand.
Alongside my marketing work, I am a lifelong creative practitioner. I’ve designed and delivered craft workshops for all ages and abilities, and in 2009 I became a project leader for a charity supporting adults with learning disabilities, developing a thriving work-based creative enterprise. That experience reinforced something I’ve always believed: creativity builds confidence, connection and possibility.
My textile art reflects that belief. Every piece is designed by me, often using vintage and reloved fabrics, inspired by the resourcefulness and artistry of my mother and grandmother. I’m drawn to colour, texture and uniqueness — and I love giving materials a new story to tell.
At the core of everything I do — whether I’m creating, teaching or strategising — is one simple belief: everyone is creative. Sometimes you just need the right inspiration and encouragement.
